JoyfulSingles.com was created in July of 2007 by a couple who met and married through a local singles group.  Recently, they celebrated their 1^st Year Anniversary and have grown their membership base to several hundred singles.  Initially, the members consisted of singles from various church groups and private organizations.  Now, membership is open to all single adults seeking a relationship or who just want to make contact with other singles.  There are members from California to New York and beyond however, the majority of members reside in the Chicagoland area.  JoyfulSingles.com is not only for individuals seeking a dating relationship or marriage, but also designed for individuals who may only be interested in meeting new friends.

The web site is unique because a dedicated group of individuals host local events in Chicago and the surrounding suburban areas.  Since its inception, various members have coordinated events such as Dinner and Karaoke Nights, Baseball and Soccer Games, Summer Concert Series, Sock Hops, Boat Cruises, Line Dance Classes, a New Years Eve Party and a Valentine’s Day Dances to name a few.  All events are posted on the web site’s Calendar of Events and are open to all active members.
